How to Get Your Blog Post Shared 1000 Times [#Infographic]

When I started my first business blog in 2004, there wasn’t much in the way of social media available to help promote blog posts. The best way to get your blog post shared was to encourage readers to subscribe to your blog update email list and then forward the email.
Today, it’s a different story. Yet, during consults with clients, I’m frequently asked how to get more traffic and visitors to new blog posts. The infographic below, created byIan Cleary of RazorSocialandCanva, will help.
There is a belief by many online entrepreneurs that they cannot share their own posts.WRONG! Yes, I’m saying that if you believe that, it’s wrong. You can and should share your blog posts. Don’t wait and hope others will share it for you. Start the ball rolling…
The first thing you need to do after publishing your post is to use the social sharing buttons on the post, to share with your own social networks. It’s OK. The blog promotion police won’t come after you, I promise.

5 Tips for Networking – The Power of Being Present

As it turns out, my best advice for professional networking reads similarly to a dating advice column. After all, in both cases you are working towards building a mutually beneficial relationship. Networking can be one of the most rewarding uses of your time, setting your business up for short term and long term success.
5 Tips for Networking

Don’t underestimate the power of being present

Getting your face and business name out into your local community will make it much more likely that you gain referrals, and establish meaningful connections with like-minded individuals. However, attending a community networking event or making small talk with a complete stranger can silence even the most outgoing people. Don’t let social anxiety or foot-in-mouth disease stop you from making a great first impression.

Keep these 5 tips in mind the next time you find yourself looking for an easy exit at a networking event:

  1. Make the First Move. Arriving early, rather than slipping in late, will allow you to easily find a seat where you’re comfortable. I like to use this time to quietly introduce myself to a few people who are around me, already breaking the ice before the actual “ice breaker” activity. When it comes time to mix and mingle you will see those same people in various small groups, and will feel more comfortable walking up saying “Hi Joe, can I join you guys?”
  2. Be a Good Listener. Spark the conversation with a question directed at one individual, and then allow them the time to give a full answer without interruption. Pointed questions open the door for that person to feel like an expert and showcase their business. What inspired them? Has that always been their passion? That will make them feel special, and they’ll return the favor by giving you your turn to speak.
  3. Take it Slow. There’s no need to show off at a networking event. This will make you seem unapproachable. No matter how amazing your business or skill set is, you don’t want to be remembered as the overbearing sales pitch guy. It’s important that you balance conversation between what your business can offer, and more light hearted conversation. Go prepared with a few topics that were in your local news, or pop culture related media that would appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds.
  4. Practice Self Awareness. Just as much as you’re gauging who you want to talk with next, people are doing the same towards you. Would you want to talk to you? Be aware of how people perceive you. I like to call this Body Basics: sit up straight, return eye contact, give others their personal space, moderate your voice to be respectful of other conversations and most importantly, SMILE!
  5. Don’t forget to Call. You’ve collected business cards, exchanged numbers, and maybe even set up a time to meet. At this point you feel like the day was a success, and it was, but that is just the beginning of the conversation! For the more meaningful connections you’ve made, keep the door of communication open by following their social media profiles or sending a direct mail referencing something you spoke about.http://brandimagemedia.com/blog/5-tips-networking-power-present/

YOU CAN’T BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT THESE INTERNET MARKETING TIPS

leading
Cruising around the web, you’re going to find a lot of information on internet marketing in general. Some of it is good, and some of it is not so good. You should always be wary of what you’re reading, and in this article we’re going to explain some of the real points of internet marketing that you should be aware of, without the mumbo jumbo.
Getting involved in online forums and talking up your website can contribute significant benefits to an internet marketing plan. Do not be pushy or single-minded when you do this; contribute to forums that relate to your website’s focus and your own interests. If you can forge connections with potential customers that are interested in what you provide they will more than likely come to your site.
To make more money, you can offer additional products and bonuses. After presenting the qualities of a product, mention its shortcomings and how that can be fixed by an additional product. You should make sure that the original product and the bonuses would interest the same kind of customers.
To learn more techniques, you should pretend to be a customer and see what other sellers and marketers are doing in the niche you are interested in. Subscribe to other email lists, and analyze what attracts you and what makes you not want to buy the product. Adapt these techniques to your product.
Always provide the information and answers that customers are seeking and make it easy to find. Just providing a one page website that gives your hours and address is not going to attract customers. You should include plenty of information on different pages of your site, it should be of great quality and pertain to your niche.
Take a careful look at your competition. Making sure that you have a good knowledge of your competitors is important. Visit their websites. Take a look at the keywords that they are using. Take a look at your own keywords and compare them. Improve upon your keyword usage until you find yourself featuring more prominently in search results.
Brand yourself up. Make a logo, a saying, or even a simple title that will carry into everything you do. When people start to recognize your brand, success is on the way. Market your website just like you would a product: acknowledge the shortfalls, but be sure to praise the uniqueness. If you need help in this area, we recommend iConnect Media, a Mississauga web design company.
If your business is engaged in advertising both online and offline, make sure your marketing strategies in the two spheres complement each other. An internet marketing plan should work with and enhance your other efforts in print or other media. Make sure your website points visitors towards your adverts in other media – and make sure your TV, radio and print ads mention your website.
A fantastic way to increase your site visibility is to create site map pages which outline all the different parts of your site. This makes it easier for your site to be navigated, and will allow search engines to locate all the different sections of your site more easily.
While you do need keywords to get a higher visibility, you need to make sure that you write the content on your site for your consumers first. The search engine bots are not going to buy your products. Only real people are going to buy your products, so you need to write for them.
Once you cut through the hyperbole and the useless content out there, you will find that real information on marketing doesn’t make bold promises or mislead you in any way. Like the information contained in this article, internet marketing is a serious business venture, and thus you must approach it as such.http://www.womenentrepreneurshq.com/you-cant-be-successful-without-these-internet-marketing-tips/

6 Easy Ways to Make Money Online - Learn how affiliate marketing can skyrocket your bottom line.

A staggering $2.1 billion in affiliate marketing fees were paid to blog and website owners in 2008. This finding in a recent study by Jupiter Research confirms what many savvy Internet marketers have known for a while: Affiliate marketing has become one of the top business opportunities online because the startup costs are so low and the income you generate can be mind-blowing.
Affiliate marketing involves having your own site and sending your traffic to someone else's site to buy their products or services. For every sale initiated by a link from your site, you earn a percentage--an affiliate sales commission.
Affiliate marketing can be done on a part-time basis, and many are so successful that they've made it their full-time job. Equally exciting, you can get in the game in just a few hours. But how successful you are is based on the amount of time and effort you devote. Here are six tips to get you started:

1. Create a website or blog

To start as an affiliate marketer, you must have a site on which to place links to the products or services you recommend. There are many inexpensive website services such as Hostgator and GoDaddy. It's also easy to set up a free blog through services such as Google's Blogger blog network. I also use Namecheap for domains and Hostnine (get a reseller account) for hosting.

2. Decide your product/service niche

Affiliate marketers help companies and entrepreneurs sell everything from jewelry and cell phones to website services and how-to e-books. Choose an area you're familiar with or one you're enthusiastic about learning. You'll be more likely to do the work and less likely to get bored before the money starts rolling in.

3. Find products and services to promote

Many affiliate networks exist to connect merchants with affiliate site publishers who can help sell their goods. Companies such as:
  • ClickbankE-junkie and PayDotCom lead the pack in connecting the creators of e-books and software with affiliates to help sell their digital download products.
  • Commission Junction is popular for those who want to sell more traditional wares ranging from travel services to janitorial franchises.
  • Google AdSense, which doesn't require your involvement to result in a sale. Your income is realized on a pay-per-click basis, just for leading your traffic to click to a merchant's site. PPC affiliate programs pay a lot less than programs where your referral must result in a sale. Keep in mind that a site peppered with ads and no authority or trust can look and feel like spam, and you won't get good results.

4. Affiliate site content

There are two main approaches or business models to choose from when setting up an affiliate marketing site:
  • Resource Sites These sites are focused on offering lots of how-to articles and posts, and then provide affiliate links or banner ads to click for more details. Frequently adding fresh related content is vital because it gives people a reason to return to your site--and click some of your money-making links.
  • Review Sites You've tried the products in your niche, now you write them up and rate them to help your site visitors decide what to buy. For each product you review, you provide a link or banner ad that clicks through for sales on your merchant partner's site. Less frequent content updates are necessary--just tweak your site about once a week to let the search engines know your site's still alive, and always try to build links.

5. Affiliate sites must attract lots of targeted traffic to succeed

Most people visiting your website or blog won't click your affiliate links. That's why it's crucial to employ a mix of marketing tactics to increase traffic--highly targeted traffic--to your site.
There are four main ways to get more site exposure and attract more potential customers:
  • Paid Advertising This is most effective when your ad copy headline, call-to-action message and graphics come together just right to compel people to click through and buy.
  • Free Advertising Sites like Craigslist and US Free Ads are but two of many popular places that accept links and banner ads for free. These tend to be affiliate marketing sites themselves, earning the owner money whenever you click their ads.
  • Article Marketing This popular marketing method offers several benefits. You're building credibility as a reliable source in your niche, gaining a higher search engine ranking by increasing the number of links leading to your site, and pulling traffic to your site. Work in an organic manner and don't spam using software engines. Ezinearticles is a great place to begin.
  • E-mail Marketing Every visitor to your site is valuable, so capturing their names and e-mail addresses to stay in touch is important. Many people might not buy your affiliate products until the third or fourth time they hear from you. So it's crucial to place an opt-in subscription box on your site for people to start receiving a weekly or monthly newsletter from you. My personal favorite is aweber, but many quality ones exist.

6. Learn the ropes in forums

These are online communities of likeminded people who exchange insights and ideas. Join at least one of these free affiliate marketing forums to benefit from advice shared by other newbies, intermediates and gurus alike:
  • Digital Point Huge, with about 25,000 active members. An excellent place to learn affiliate marketing tips, plus other techniques that impact your success such as link building and SEO.
  • aBestWeb One of the largest affiliate marketing forums, with nearly 100 sub-forums. Covers the broadest range of affiliate marketing-specific subjects, with heavy participation by numerous go-getter merchants and serious affiliates.
  • Warrior Forum A killer networking forum for beginners and advanced alike. Set up a profile, start participating, ask questions and promote as well.
To do well, read all you can about the opinions, tool and strategies of both experts and peers. But before you even start, choose a niche about which you're passionate. The more you truly enjoy what you're immersed in, the more likely you are to transform your affiliate marketing and money-making venture into a huge success.http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/201360

Best Autoresponders Review

The Top Email Autoresponder Review- How To Choose the right Service for You!
It’s no secret that your building a E-mail list for your marketing campaign can set you up for massive success. This makes choosing the right autoresponer software a vital decision for the future of your business.
What should you look for when choosing Your Autoresponder?
The most important features that you should consider when researching a service:
Delivery Rate- This is #1 on your list. Your customers are not going to get to read what you have to say if they are not deliver your email. This means that the service you choose should have advanced technology and be up-to-date with reducing spam and ensuring that your delivery rate stays high.
List Management- Your service must make managing your lists and setting up your campaigns as easy as possible. You should look for the ability to review subscribers, read messages, analize clicked links, and open rates. Analyzing your list will help you to test your campaigns and make changes to get the best returns.
Many of the auto responder reviews will only focus on trying to sell you their chosen service. I wanted to do something a bit different. I have decided to give you information on the industry’s top 3 rated services.
#1 Aweber
Aweber is what I personally use to manage all my email campaigns. I like this service because it is very easy to set up. Aweber makes it as simple as a few clicks to insert video or audio. They also allow you to easily manage and navigate multiple lists.best email autoresponder
They also have a very easy to learn scheduling system that lets you schedule what days and when you would like your emails to be sent.
Aweber’s tracking options are top-notch they give you access to analyze your impressions, subscriptions, verification, and your clicks at any time.
The features that I am not too impressed with are importing other mailing lists and the pricing structure.
#2 Get Response
Another top email autoresponder that you should know about is Get Response. This is a very popular service and can almost be compared exactly to Aweber. They both offer many of the same great services.
Get Response lets you customize everything similar to Aweber, you can include documents, sound files, and video. Get response has a great delivery rate, and you can schedule your Emails to be sent any day of the week and any time that you would like. The tracking analytics allows you to view open rates, subscriptions, and much more.
It can be slightly more complicated than Aweber to set up, but there are extensive tutorials available. The price is a few dollars lower than Aweber at $17.99 per month.
#3 Autoresponse Plus
Get Response and Aweber services are remotely hosted. You are charged a subscription fee each month for use. Autoresponse is different because it is a email marketing program that you install on your own server. You will pay upfront for the cost to download the service, then you will not have any recurring monthly charges.
The great thing about this service is that everything can be customized to your liking. You can set everything up exactly the way that you would like, and can import external email services.
Autoresponse Plus is a great service if you are great with technology. Compared to the other two services it can be very confusing and complicated to set up and get started on your campaigns.
There are countless marketers such as Mark Ling that have made millions just of building their email lists. If you are starting internet marketing or if you are involved in any kind of business, you cannot afford to miss out of building a list.
Autoresponders are one of the biggest tools that can help you get more sales. Every business owner must make this investment to help build their business. If you are not already signed up for one of these three services above, you should re-read this review and see which one would fit your needs the best.http://strikingabalance.org/affiliate-marketing/best-autoresponders-review/

12 Essential Tips to Double Your Productivity

Many of you will be giving internet marketing a go while also holding down a full-time job, so learning how to get the most out of your hours is essential. That said, sometimes it's even more difficult to be efficient if you have all day to do it so decent time management is also super-critical for full-time marketers. That’s why in this lesson we’re going to look at 12 Essential Tips to Double Your Productivity

#1: Use time-management software

We recommend ClockingIt.com - it's free and it does the trick.
Add in your ongoing and one-off tasks and select a due date. When you begin working on a task, click on the "start work" icon and ClockingIt will start the timer. Click on the icon again when you finish working on the task. You can keep stopping and starting until you finish the task — at which point ClockingIt will tell you how long you've spent on it.
The software makes it easy to see where you are spending your time and pinpoint potential bottlenecks (it's quite shocking to realize that you spent five hours of your working week checking your email!). It's also a great tool to get your staff using too, if/when you employ any.
You may also find it useful to use a countdown timer for when you want to accomplish a lot of work in a short period of time; try setting your timer for two hours and then working solidly for that time, refusing any interruptions. Try to this a couple of times a day, and you’ll see big results! (If you're nervous, try 30 minutes to begin with. You can still get an amazing amount done in 30 minutes if you avoid distractions! Once you master that, increase the time period.

#2: Keep a notebook of ideas

It's easy to get distracted by a brainwave while in the middle of a task. If you follow it up, you can inadvertently spend hours of time away from what you really needed to get done. Obviously, this isn't good for productivity — but at the same time, you don't want to ignore and potentially forget about these good ideas.
Dave Allen, author of the fantastic book Getting Things Done, recommends that busy people keep a 'tickler' file. A 'tickler' file can be a Word document, notebook, or a permanent ClockingIt task. The idea is that a tickler file is somewhere to quickly jot ideas when they occur to you, so that you don't need to interrupt what you are doing and you can easily find the idea again in the future.

#3: Set daily micro goals

All too often we get overwhelmed by big tasks and end up floundering around not really achieving anything at all. The best way to counter this is to make a list of three to five small goals to achieve each day. You can either make your list the night before or first thing in the morning.
Online task lists are handy, but there is something about actually picking up a pen and writing on paper that helps to focus your mind. Micro goal setting ensures that you systematically get where you want to go. And it also helps you to feel like you are achieving something, each and every day.

 #4: Get rid of clutter

A tidy office equals tidy mind. If you find yourself getting distracted by items on your desk, chat windows, the phone, or the view out of the window, then simply remove them (or change the position of your desk). It makes a world of difference to your power of concentration.

#5: Limit your email checking to twice a day

Did you know that, for most people, email is the single biggest interruption? We recommend checking your email only after midday, as you may discover a lot of fires to put out that are best left until after you've done some important work. Don't keep checking your email throughout the day; close your email program or the window in your browser. Concentrate on your current tasks and limit yourself to two checks a day at the most.

 #6: Learn to say 'no'

Being able to stay on task for an extended period is vital for getting a good result, but that can't be done if you are constantly getting interrupted throughout the day.
The solution is to get ruthless: only say 'yes' to tasks that just can't wait, or that can be easily completed along with your other goals for the day.

#7: Get the worst job over and done with first thing

Procrastination is very distracting. Get into the habit of tackling the task you dread the most first thing in the morning, so that your mind is free from niggling worry for the rest of the day.

#8: Pull to-dos out of emails and add them to your task list

Going back and forth from the original email to check up on what you need to do can waste valuable minutes, and increase the likelihood that you'll overlook something critical. Make sure you immediately add tasks from emails to your time-management software.

#9: Use the 80:20 ratio

Eighty percent of your time should be spent 'doing', and no more than twenty percent should be spent ‘learning’. This is an especially important lesson for affiliates! We can be easily suckered into sales pitches from Internet marketing gurus, and we all know how long those sales pitches can be! If you're going to give time to these sales pitches, or to reading forums and blogs and newsletters, make sure it fits in with your schedule for getting things done - set yourself a timed task and keep track of how much time you spend, then decide whether that time would have been better spent achieving goals on your task list.

#10. Use a cell phone with a calendar or personal organizer

When you're busy it's easy to forget important appointments. One way of solving this problem is to add appointments and meetings to your cell phone calendar and schedule the alarm to go off 15 minutes beforehand.

#11. Keep a separate to-do list for personal matters

If you suddenly realize there is something that you need to do that has nothing to do with work, write it down in a separate personal to-do list and come back to it outside of work time. Keeping your personal life organized ensures it doesn't overflow into your business day.

#12. Delegate as much as you can

Don't hoard tasks that your staff or other people are more than capable of carrying out for you. Some people find letting go of pet activities is tough at first, but it's very necessary in order to free up more time.
Also, make sure that you have set times each day for appointments with staff and/or joint venture partners. This is critical if you want to avoid constant interruptions throughout the day.
So there are 12 tips for doubling productivity! It's easy to downplay or put off organizing your business, but setting up efficient business practices is just as important as good SEO or pay per click strategies, so make sure that you take these seriously!http://www.affilorama.com/introduction/12-tips-to-double-productivity

How to Create Landing Pages that Make Money

An effective landing page is the strength of any online marketing campaign.
It is therefore imperative to study and test it with the utmost care.
Otherwise, potential customers will not perform the action for which the page was designed.
But how do you create a landing page that can sell and make money?
In other words, you want to maximize the conversion rate of your landing page.
There is no valid prescription for every occasion.
However, it is possible to list a number of tips that are useful in most situations.

1. Create an Effective Headline

The headline is the opening slogan of your landing page.
Its purpose is to capture the attention of potential customers.
It is the most important element of the landing page and in fact it is read about five times more than the body of the offer.
The headline has a difficult task: to summarize the landing page and indicate the main benefits of the product.
In addition, it should intrigue the reader so much to push him to continue reading.
All in one or two rows to the maximum.
Not easy, is it?
Some tips on how to write an effective headline :
- use a larger body than the text of the offer;
- use a color that stands out well in the eyes of potential customers.
The headline may provide a title and a subtitle.
For example, a question such as the title and its response as the subtitle.
Another tip:
the headline should start with “How To” or “Learn how to“.

2. Write about Benefits, not Features

The center of your attention must be the needs of the potential customers, not the product you sell.
Therefore, the landing page must immediately explain what happen if someone will buy your product.
At this point, put yourself in the shoes of your clients!
In a clear and concise way, you should discuss the benefits of what you sell.
Be practical: they are the facts that speak.
Write in a simple language.
Report data and evidence to support the credibility of your product.
A landing page that lists only the characteristics of the product will never sell as a landing page that explains how the product will solve the problems of those who buy it!
A magnet with a golden dollar symbol

3. Create a Simple and Clean Layout

On the web, you should never overdo the graphics.
Therefore, the layout of your landing page must be sober and clean.
The graphic layout  must have a single purpose: to guide the user to perform the action you want.
Often, this means that the look should be functional to fill in the contact form.
It must be consistent with the style of the message you want to propose.
Otherwise, your potential customer will be confused and ask themselves, “Am I really in the right place?”.
Finally, a landing page should be quick to load.
Because if your potential customer has to wait too much, he could decide to go away.
So be sure to reduce to a minimum the weight of your page.

4 . Insert a Clearly Visible Call to Action

Be sure to place the call to action in a clear and visible spot.
The action should be easy to complete in order to facilitate as much as possible the commercial contacts between you and the potential client.
Also, the call to action should be repeated several times in the page at regular intervals, perhaps by changing your message.
If the landing page is long, at least one call to action should be above the fold.

5 . Keep an Eye to Readability

While creating the content of your landing page, keep in mind the important rules of online writing.
The style of your communication must be adapted to target your potential customers.
It is worthwhile for you to do a little more effort and write a text that is really as simple as possible.
What to do?
Be sure to set the degree of legibility and comprehensibility of your text.
Your landing page must have content written in a perfect language.
Errors of spelling, grammar and syntax demolish your credibility in the eyes of your audience.
It drastically reduces your chances of selling.

6 . Use Media

The landing page must show the product through pictures, photographs or video.
For example, you may enter a video that shows how to use the product.
Or a catchy image.

7 . Ask an Easy and Intuitive Action

Filling out the form or purchase order of your landing page should be easy and fast.
The action must take just a few steps.
For this to happen, the form should have a few fields.
Also because people do not like to fill out any form.
The best place to put the labels of the fields is above them.
However, you should leave sufficient vertical space between a field and the other, otherwise potential customers will not understand if a label refers to the field above or the one below.
And remember to reassure potential customers how you use their data. How? Make reference to your privacy policy.

8 . Test your Landing Page

Before launching a campaign, you need to test multiple landing pages.
In fact, only trials can show what will be the one with the highest conversion rate.
